| I recieved a phone call today from Everian Inc. and they offered me the position as Web Projects Mananger. I accepted and will begin on Monday. I'm very excited about this switch. It will allow me to use all of my technical knowledge as well as personal skills. Plus, I will be working in downtown Boone just across the street from the courthouse. Life is sweet. | | |
| I know, it's been over a month since I updated. Unlike my college friends, it takes that amount for something of "written importance" to occur. In the last month, we have attending to the needs of two of the most awesome beagle puppies. Yes, we have two now. The pictures of both can be seen on the same link as Lucy's pics from the last entry. Ashley has started a new medication that will hopefully relieve her of her pain. We will all rejoice if it works. Today is my last day with Systel. The life of the traveling salesman for me has come to an end. I have interviewed with many places and some have offered me a job. One, in particular, said if I take it I can start on this Monday. The two positions that I am really wanting are being kind of slow. I applied to both months ago. I interviewed for one just last week and my interview for the other will be on Friday. My mom suggested just taking the one that starts on Monday and if either of these others offer me something better, then move to them. I hate to do that, but when you apply for a job at the end of November and you start your interviewing at the very end of January, they don't leave you with much choice.

| Ashley and I are now the proud owners of a beautiful baby beagle girl. Her official AKC name is Lucretia Leigh Mac Evil (named after a great tune from Blood, Sweat, & Tears) but we call her Lucy. Next week after Christmas we are going to pick up her little step-brother. He doesn't have an official name yet. If you want to see pictures follow this LINK and go to the album titled Lucy. | | |
| It's amazing to me that so much can change in a year's time. Tomorrow marks the anniversary of when I proposed to Ashley. One year later, we're married, have a nice home in the mountains, and are planning a new addition to the family! Yep, you guessed it, we're in the process of really starting our family and can't wait to bring home a new bundle of joy. We know that it's going to be a lot of responsibility, but beagle puppies are so awesome!
In case your wondering or haven't heard, Ashley's surgery went fine and the doctor did find what was causing her pain. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Now, we just have to figure out how it needs to be treated. We have a few options that we are sorting out but as you know, everything comes with a price.

| Thursday we had a tremendous winds. No rain or snow, just a clear day with high winds. When I say high winds I mean hurricane strength, 100MPH+, gale force, winds. What's really bad is that the utility shed Ashley and I had just bought back in September wound up in the neighbors yard in about 24 pieces. It's a total loss and cannot be repaired. Stupid Thursdays. | | |
